1. Who We Are

The Ijar Tech app ("Ijar Tech", "we") is a car rental application in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use the app.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information: name and mobile number (verified via an OTP code).
  • Booking data: selected vehicle, rental dates, delivery/pickup address.
  • Location: to show nearby branches and delivery points on the map (only with your permission).
  • Payment data: processed via the certified HyperPay gateway (PCI DSS) and the installment providers Tabby and Tamara. We do not store your card numbers.
  • Device and usage data: device type, notification identifiers, and performance logs to improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Create your account and verify your identity via the confirmation code.
  • Process bookings and payments and issue invoices.
  • Provide delivery/pickup and show nearby branches.
  • Send booking-status notifications and offers (you can turn these off).
  • Improve performance and security and prevent fraud.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate the app: the HyperPay payment gateway, installment providers (Tabby, Tamara), and map/notification providers, to the extent needed to deliver the service, or when required by a competent legal authority.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time via the email below.

  • Access or correct your data.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Withdraw consent for location or notifications from your device settings.

7. Security & Data Location

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Payments are processed via a PCI DSS certified gateway. Data is stored and processed in accordance with the regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for adults able to enter into rental contracts. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal age.
